New Years 2009

Fun!!

Brendan loved bringing his new remote control car outside.  He had a great time crashing into snow banks and slipping on the ice.  Here is Bailey with one of her many treats.  She got so many treats, they all wouldn't fit in her stocking.  She even got a new red Coach collar.  Yes, she is a spoiled dog.  Imagine if I had a real-life daughter to spoil???  

Christmas Morning

Santa Was HERE!!!!!!

Christmas morning.   Brendan woke up at 6, but we talked him into staying in bed a bit longer.  We woke Trevin up at 7  and went downstairs to see what Santa brought.  Of course, the boys were not disappointed.  They each got a new lacrosse stick and some hiking/camping gear. (I didn't get any hiking/camping gear...darn)   Trevin also got a guitar and amp.  Our house is now even louder.  Brendan got a new remote control car and ipod touch.  Due to the bad weather, we had a relaxing Christmas Day.  We never went out and spent the day inside, playing with our new stuff.

CHRISTMAS EVE

We had a great Christmas Eve get together at our house.  Lots of food, gifts, and fun.  

Brendan loves going to the Jazz games.  The Jazz Bear is his all-time favorite.  The best game is when the Bear sprays Brendan with silly string.  The first picture of Brendan with Boozer and Williams via the box office lobby.  (Trevin refused to get in the photo)   Brendan's favorite player is Deron Williams.  We are bummed that Boozer has been such a baby and not playing. We will boo (not Booooozer) him next year, when he is on the Miami Heat.

Halloween

Ted and I were looking at some old photos of when the kids had cute costumes for Halloween.  Those days are gone! Now all they wanted was costumes with all the gore!  The ugliest, the bloodier, and the scarier the better.  Yuck!  We had great time trick or treating.  Trevin had 2 friends go with him, so he was happy.  Now we have tons of candy to get rid of before I eat it all!  Too bad halloween only comes once a year!!

Brendan-Fall Soccer and Lacrosse

Another soccer and lacrosse season done, at last.   It was a busy couple of months.  Especially on those few Saturdays when Brendan had a lacrosse double header and a soccer game. That's a lot of running, but Brendan loved it every minute of it.  And hardly ever complained.  I complained enough for him.  

We missed a few of Trevin's lacrosse games because, of course, the kids games were at the same time and on opposite ends of the valley...sorry Trev.  That is why I only have pictures of Brendan. (Ted take pictures, rrrright!)  Trevin is playing on a competitive lacrosse team this winter, so hopefully I will get plenty of chances to take his picture, eventhough he rather me not.  

Bring on Trevin and Brendan's winter sports: basketball, indoor soccer, lacrosse, and snowboarding!  Oh yeah, attend some Jazz games along the way.  

Does  it ever end????? 

Science Experiment

Trevin and some friends had to do a science project for school.  They wanted to see what color Mentos candy would make the Diet Coke spray the highest.  Below is a picture of each kid dropping one Mentos into a 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke.  Then they backed away and look at the spray!  Good thing they did the experiment in the road... what a mess!   

Childrens Museum

Before school started we took a trip with the neighbors to the Childrens Museum in SLC.  Love the way they squeezed into the costumes sized for two year olds.  They had a great time!

First Day of School

I know it has been forever.  Here is a photo from the first day of school (8/18) and now the first quarter is almost done.  I've been slacking.  Plus we got a new computer and it took a while for my pictures to be added, plus I had to learn how to use the thing.  It is a Mac, so it is a little different. Blah blah blah  I know.  I will try to be better now that I know what I am doing...well sort of.  

Sparta Tournament

Brendan's team competed in their first big tournament. After two tough losses, they won the third game 4-2, in which, Brendan scored 3 goals. Eventhough they lost in the semi-finals, it was a great experience. Now onto the regular season. Soccer never stops.

Fenway Park

Ted and I went to Boston to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. Eventhough the Sox lost, we still had a great time.

CT Trip

As usual we took our July trip to Connecticut. We had a great time.

We took a quick trip to Massachusetts, went to the beach and hung out with family.

LAX

Trev's coach sent us some really neat pictures of Trevin playing lacrosse. He plays defense and loving every minute of it! Plus he gets to use a "D" pole, which is longer than the normal lacosse stick. Right now we have the summer off, but come fall, it is LAX season again. Keep up the great work Trevin!
